Sick Children Policy
Here at Crich Pre-school we consider the health and safety of our children paramount. In the interest of providing a healthy environment for all our children we ask that parents/carers inform us of any symptoms of ill-health shown by their child.
Should a child become unwell in our care we will of course assess their condition and contact the parent/carer accordingly. They may be asked to collect their child early.
In the event of your child displaying signs of an infectious illness they will be prevented from attending pre-school to avoid the infection affecting other children and staff. Following such an illness a child will be allowed to return when they are considered to be no longer infectious according to government guidelines.
In the event of sickness/diarrhoea please allow 48 hrs clear before returning your child to Pre-school.
